FIA Welcomes Ray Barnes

After having been in the financial services and financial planning industry for more than 20 years Ray Barnes has come to the realisation that the time of the smaller financial planning practice is rapidly coming to an end.
The ongoing compliance requirements and ever increasing administrative workload was highlighted for Ray as he helped his clients through the economic downturn, whereby he concluded that a one or two man practice would struggle to remain efficient into the future.
Having come to this realisation, Ray began researching the financial planning industry for viable alternatives, looking primarily for an organisation which reflected his own “client service first!” attitude. In doing so, Ray undertook a lengthy due diligence process before selecting Financial Index as the new home for his clients.
Ray is now be working with the team in the Brisbane office to settle his clients into Financial Index Australia, after which we are all confident that he will continue to provide sensible solutions to clients with utmost care, and enhanced ongoing service.
