FIA Internship Program

FIA Internship Program

Financial Index Australia has developed an Internship Program to cater for tertiary enrolled students to work within our organization whilst continuing their studies.

The National Society for Experiential Education (NSEE) defines 'internship’ as “a carefully monitored work or volunteer experience in which an individual has intentional learning goals and reflects actively on what he or she is learning throughout the experience" .

FIA would expand this to say, an internship is the transition from study to work and is a necessary component in order to develop a student’s skills, making them more advanced and diligent when they finally have the opportunity to be apart of the working world.

Criteria

To qualify as an FIA Intern, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Currently enrolled in an Australian tertiary course as a 2nd or 3rd year undergraduate student. The course must relate to FIA’s financial planning business, or any other department within FIA i.e. Marketing, Accounts, Human Resources.

• Provide Curriculum Vitae which details completed or current studies.

• Provide two written references.

• Provide a statement of results from the tertiary institution where studies have been undertaken.

• Provide a statement of internship objectives and how the internship relates to current studies.

Please feel welcome to send your written application and resume/curriculum vitae to: jobs@findex.com.au
