Michael Wilkins

 Michael holds a Diploma in Financial Planning from Deakin University and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) with over 20 years of experience in the Financial Services industry.

From 1990 to early 2000 Michael was a part of the Associated Planners Group, which is where he met the founders of Financial Index Australia (FIA). After discovering that they shared a common vision they decided to merge their resources and in July 2001, Michael became a Director and Shareholder of FIA.

Michael’s role initially involved overseeing and growing the Adelaide office through mergers and acquisitions. His role has now become national and involves managing the FIA adviser network helping with their client relationships and services. Michael places high importance on building and maintaining enduring relationships with his clients. He believes that a consistent, value added service is essential to this process. Michael has also been heavily involved with the development of new strategies and tools advisers use to help their clients.

Michael’s experience in the industry has allowed him to specialise in all aspects of retirement planning and risk management for professionals and business clients. He is also authorized to provide advice on Estate Planning, Investments, Superannuation, Retirement Planning and Risk Management.
