Business Skills Visa Categories
In order to attract people with business skills and demonstrated experience/knowledge in this area, there are 4 different types of visa in the Business Skills Category.
They are:
• Business Owner
• Senior Executive
• Investor
• High calibre Business Owner identified by the government
Below is an overview of each category:
Business Owner
To be eligible you need to show that you:
• Have a successful business career
• Meet the net assets requirement
• Meet the business annual turnover requirements
• Are less than 55 years of age and seek State/Territory Sponsorship Or propose to establish/participate in a business, which the sponsoring State/Territory deem is of exceptional economic benefit to that State or Territory
• Have vocational English
• Have notified the appropriate regional authority in the state/territory where you wish to establish your business
Senior Executive
To be eligible you need to show that you:
• Have been sponsored by an appropriate regional authority of a State/Territory government
• Have an overall successful business career
• Meet the required management experience criteria
• Meet the net assets requirements
• Less than 55 years of age and seek State/Territory Sponsorship Or propose to establish/participate in a business, which the Sponsoring State/Territory deem is of exceptional economic benefit to that State or Territory
Investor
To be eligible you need to show that you:
• Have been sponsored by the appropriate regional authority of a State/Territory government
• Meet the business management requirements
• Meet the net assets requirements
• Meet the Designated Investment requirement
• Less than 55 years of age and seek State/Territory Sponsorship Or propose to establish/participate in a business, which the Sponsoring State/Territory deem is of exceptional economic benefit to that State or Territory
High Calibre Business Owner (Business Talent)
To be eligible you need to show that you:
• Have been sponsored by a State or Territory government
• Have an overall successful business career
• Meet the net assets requirement
• Meet the business annual turnover requirements
• Less than 55 years of age or proposing to establish/participate in a business, which the Sponsoring State/Territory deem is of exceptional economic benefit to that State or Territory
