Findex is very pleased to announce that it has been named as a finalist in two categories in the 2018 Australian Accounting Awards, hosted by Accountants Daily.
Findex has been shortlisted for both Firm of the Year and Community Engagement Program of the Year (FoundX). The Firm of the Year award recognises a business with less than $1 billion revenue that most effectively drove business growth during the 2017 calendar year.
Findex CEO Spiro Paule says the firm’s Family Office model, which is the only one of its kind, has resulted in strong growth across the business.
“We’re proud of what we’ve achieved over the past 12 months. At the heart our firm are our multi-skilled advisers who are actively collaborating to enhance our clients’ entire financial strategy, presented in one streamlined and holistic offer,” Mr Paule said.
The Community Engagement Program of the Year award recognises a business that has demonstrated the most beneficial social and community service program. Last year Findex launched FoundX, an initiative that empowers regional entrepreneurship in communities across the firm’s vast network in Australia and New Zealand.
“Entrepreneurship is in the lifeblood of our business, and FoundX reflects our ethos of connecting with, and giving back to the regional communities within which we operate. It’s fantastic to see our efforts in this space recognised through this award nomination,” Mr Paule said.
Now in its fifth year, the Australian Accounting Awards, in partnership with Thomson Reuters, recognises the exceptional contribution of individuals and accounting firms across 31 categories.
“We are also pleased to be recognising the broader role accountants play in their locales and in the lives of their clients. Accountants are the backbone of small business in Australia, and the community flow-on effect is enormous,” said Accountants Daily managing editor Katarine Taurian.
Findex was among the finalists selected from hundreds of submissions. The winners will be announced at a black-tie awards dinner on 1 June at the Hyatt Regency Sydney.
