Introducing the Payment Portal

It is with great pleasure that I can share with you some exciting news from the Credit team.

We have 28 amazingly talented credit professionals in our team and our main focus is always to ensure that we give our clients the best possible service. Our main strategy is “digital efficiency” and “one best practice,” and with this at the forefront of everything we do, we have been working extremely hard to launch the Client Payment Portal.

Some of you may have already used this portal to make a credit card payment, and we have now launched the portal with the direct debit functionality. This means that the portal can now securely take one-off direct debit payments from your nominated bank account.

So far, we have had a great response from clients, with the overall feedback being that the payment portal is quick, clear and simple. The uptake has been extremely positive, with more than 2,700 transactions to date already.

The best thing about the portal is that you can control when and where you make your payments (we have been surprised by the number of payments we receive via the portal at one o’clock in the morning!). We are eager for our clients to make the portal their main payment method, as it is a more reliable and efficient method. The credit card functionality also means that payments are received in real time.

We are now busily working on creating a recurring payment functionality through the portal, so that payments can automatically be set-up. This means that you will no longer need to think about paying invoices, as it will happen automatically.
