From humble beginnings when they purchased a small parcel of undeveloped land in Far North Queensland more than 40 years ago, Des and Paula Chapman have built Rocky Ponds Produce into one of the most innovative and technologically advanced fruit and vegetable growers in the country.

With a driving focus on innovation and automation, Des and Paula have overcome challenges with water supply and, with the help of their son, Evan, implemented state of the art irrigation systems to supply specially designed nurseries in which they trial up to 500 new seeds every year.
