Ian is a Registered Tax Agent with over 30 years in public practice, bringing deep experience across tax compliance and planning for individuals, trusts and companies, as well as advisory for SMEs and high-income clients. He has led a private practice as Principal and more recently, managed the firm for new owners, experience he now channels into practical, outcomes-focused advice for Findex clients.
His work spans business structuring and succession planning (including sale and acquisition due diligence), capital gains tax calculations, and ongoing financial accounting support such as cash-flow forecasting, budgets and scenario planning, to help clients make informed decisions with confidence.
Outside of work, Ian is a life member of Logan City Cricket Club and has supported several clubs to strengthen financial controls and membership systems.
